About me

I have a Masters in Transpersonal Psychology. This perspective acknowledges spirituality, creativity, embodiment, intuition, and mindfulness in the process of living into your potential. I teach present moment awareness to increase your choices and help you create a life you intend. I became a Reiki Master in 2003 and volunteered offering Reiki weekly to the nurses at Stanford Hospital.

I am intuitive. I love people. I listen deeply, and I’m always in conversation with nature. I am continually learning from spiritual perspectives. I am curious about embodied awareness. I map my thoughts and emotions to sensations in my body. My goal is to have a generative conversation with you where you overhear yourself saying something you didn’t know you knew. I am sincere, accepting, and people find it easy to be in my presence and share their experience. I look inward so I can look outward toward you with clear eyes. I look forward to getting to know you.

My influences will become cornerstones to my offerings. I am influenced by nature including the wind, the moon, the ocean, owls, trees, and granite. I am influenced by poetry of David Whyte, John O’Donohue, Jane Hirshfield, Mary Oliver, Pablo Neruda, Rainer Maria Rilke, and Naomi Shihab Nye. Rilke reminds us to be with the questions until we can “live into the answers”. I am physically moved by dance, and I am always learning. Currently, I’m learning more about somatic awareness.

My commitment

I commit to offering Reiki and words of insight and encouragement to help you be grounded in a time of uncertainty. Let us create community and a place of belonging. Let us each be the best version of ourselves and meet where we can grow in safety. I will hold the space. I will witness you and guide you as you navigate these days, these emotions, and our ever-changing bodies. The one constant is change. I have faith we will come through it stronger together.

Through our time together you will have a chance to touch into your own knowing through somatic experiencing, present moment awareness, and mindful practices. With attention we build space to create more choices, and new perspectives allow us to see opportunities. The world is your oyster.
